Consultancy. Engineering. Development.
Construction. Testing. Production.

At WILLBRANDT, highly qualified engineers and technicians are on hand to provide you with help and advice. The broad development and service portfolio leaves almost nothing to be desired.

Engineering

Every week, WILLBRANDT develops new products for sometimes very specialised applications. Depending on market requirements, either tried and tested products can be used or a completely new product has to be developed. The Engineers always try to find a solution quickly and flexibly that also fulfils the customer’s cost-benefit requirements. Depending on the product and the scope of the required component, development times can range from a few days to several months.

TECHNICAL Advice AND Engineering

All colleagues in Sales are always supported by experienced technicians and engineers.
In this way, more complex technical issues relating to a project are solved together by designing the most suitable product for the application at hand.

Product development and design

Depending on the demand, we also design customised product solutions.
This applies to all specialist areas: vibration and shock technology, expansion joints, noise protection systems, profiles and moulded parts, power transmission elements, sealing solutions and fender systems.

Body and airborne sound measurement

With modern mobile measurement technology, even complex structure-borne and airborne sound measurements can be carried out directly on site.
All measurements are comprehensively analysed and documented in a report.

SHOCK CALCULATIONS

With its proprietary ShockDesign program, WILLBRANDT is able to calculate in detail the response behaviour of elastically mounted multi-mass oscillators to short-term shock-like base excitation.
Such requirements can arise, for example, in railway technology, but also in the defence sector or in shipbuilding.

spring viewer program

The WILLBRANDT spring curve programme Spring Viewer enables our engineers to easily and clearly determine stiffnesses, forces, paths and energies.
We use the FEM method to estimate the performance spectrum of new developments at an early stage. This data is generally used to determine the shock responses of spring-mass systems.

BENCH TESTS

All computational and computer-aided designs can be verified or simulated using tests on various testing machines.
Various servo-hydraulic and electro-dynamic systems, including multi-axis systems, are available for this purpose in the WILLBRANDT test laboratory.

PRESSURE TESTS

For certain seal types, but also for a wide variety of expansion joints in particular, proof of tightness is required on a project-specific basis.
WILLBRANDT maintains a pressure testing machine for this purpose and for basic QM verifications, which is suitable for almost all common pipe connectors.

FEM-Calculations

WILLBRANDT can calculate the behaviour of rubber products under limit loads using FEM calculations.
This provides reliable information about possible failure risks and the life expectancy of the product.

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS AND DOCUMENTATION

Many of WILLBRANDT’s products are customised drawing parts.
Drawings and all necessary documentation are also part of the comprehensive service portfolio of the technical departments at WILLBRANDT.
