PTFE-Expansion Joints

WILLBRANDT supplies PTFE expansion joints in two versions – the standard version, moulded from an extruded PTFE tube, and a version for higher pressures, made from paste-like PTFE material, which ensures a uniform wall thickness.

For high chemical resistance

PTFE expansion joints are used in systems where high chemical resistance is required or in food processing systems, where PTFE is characterised by its food conformity and anti-adhesive properties. In these systems, the PTFE expansion joint has a noise-damping effect and compensates for expansion and subsidence. Thanks to the two available variants with up to seven shafts, we can offer PTFE expansion joints for a wide range of applications.

Applications

  • Chemical plants
  • Food industry
