WILLBRANDT has been offering a wide range of different sizes and designs of rubber fenders for many decades. Our rubber fenders are used to protect ships and quayside facilities and are highly versatile.

Rubber fenders – right from the start

Choosing the right fender not only depends on the physical properties, space requirements also play a decisive role. We are happy to help you choose the right fender or entire fender systems.

Depending on the fender type, the fenders can be fitted with attachments/suspensions such as chains, steel cables or holding rods. All fenders are characterised by a long service life.

Cylindrical Fenders

Produkctdescription:

Round fenders are the classics among fenders and are among the most widely used fender elements. The variety of dimensions offers an application-specific selection option. The attachment or suspension, depending on the respective dimensions, is realised by means of chain systems or steel cables.

Advantages at a glance:

  • weiches Anfangsfederverhalten
  • hohe Lastaufnahme im Endbereich (progressive Kennlinie)
  • Abwälzmöglichkeit auch bei hoher Endbelastung
  • robuste und einfache Konstruktion
  • einfacher Einbau (horizontal, vertikal, diagonal)
  • einfache Austauschbarkeit
  • vielseitige Einsetzbarkeit

D-Fenders

Productdescription:

D-fenders are available with a round or D-shaped inner hole. They can be used flexibly, are very robust and provide excellent protection for the ship’s side or quay. This classic product is characterised by simple vertical, horizontal and diagonal installation.

Square Fenders

Productdescription:

Square fenders are an inexpensive and effective method of protecting ships or moorings from damage. Square fenders are available with a round or D-hole. They have a high load-bearing capacity in the end area and a hard initial spring behaviour.

Square Composite Fenders

Productdescription:

Square composite fenders combine the spring properties and energy absorption of square fenders with the optimum gliding properties of UHMW-PE. A special vulcanisation process ensures the connection between rubber and PE. There is no need for a mechanical connection. The entire PE thickness is available as wear protection. The fastening using retaining bars is the same as for square fenders.

Key Hole Fenders

Productdescription:

Keyhole fenders are particularly suitable for mounting on rounded contours such as the bow or stern of tugs and pier heads due to their recess.

M&W Fenders

Productdescription:

M-Fenders are characterised by a particularly large contact surface, which ensures optimum force distribution and ensures an even distribution of forces on the ship. Our M-Fenders are particularly suitable for small curvature radii in the bow and stern area as well as for corners. Due to their special shape and size, M-fenders also offer optimum damping in these areas and minimise the risk of damage.

W-Fenders have been developed for extreme operating conditions. These fenders are very easy to fit as they have an open system rather than special fixing holes. Thanks to their flexibility, they adapt to most ship radii.

Bow and Stern Fenders

Productdescription:

Bow and stern fenders serve as protective and working fenders and a fender bed ensures a secure fit on the ship. Horizontal fixing is usually achieved by a chain running lengthways through the centre hole.

Omega Fender

Productdescription:

Omega fenders provide all-round protection for workboats. Their shape enables simple installation by sliding them into angle plates. Additional fasteners such as drill holes or brackets are not required.
