Railstrips are mainly used for heavy machinery. Typical applications include engine mounts on ships, vibrating and screening machines and for higher acoustic requirements.

The advantage of using rails is that the load is distributed over the entire surface. Rails should primarily
be loaded to compressive loads. An inclined positioning is also possible.
