Our special driving wheels are made of different types of elastomers on a vulcanised steel core. This results in a maximum coefficient of friction of 0.2 to max. 0.95 depending on the sliding contact face. High coefficients of friction allow the use of low contact forces for efficient speed transmission, which reduces drive bearing costs.
The temperature range is -30°C to max. +150°C depending on the particular type of material used.
